The Action for Vision Eye Foundation (AFV), a
tax-exempted charitable organization established in 1999, is dedicated to
enhancing the standard of eye care and helping the needy suffering from eye
diseases. It is always AFV’s commitment to helping the prevention and
elimination of blindness in Hong Kong and

- develop and provide more
outreaching programs for the community;
- provide public education on
important eye care issues;
- nurture and provide high quality
training and development programs for eye care professionals in

Welcome to our website! I would like to take this opportunity
to share with you the joy I have experienced in my career as a physician. I
could never forget the moment when a patient of mine had her bandage removed.
It was the first time since birth that she, at last, managed to see the world. The moment was
not only magical but also unforgettable. Giving is a major blessing. I am
fortunate enough to be able to experience touching moments as such. It is my dream
to continue to help the poor and the needy and to build a community free from
blindness. With this in mind, the Action for Vision Eye Foundation was

Fundraising Events
"Sharing our vision for the future together!"
Dedicated to the mission of "Sight-saving", the Foundation had organized
various fundraising events to solicit funds for its charity programmes.With the
generous support of donors and friends from all sectors of the community, we
have been able to pool together resources for the launch of a series of
programmes to enhance the standard of eye care, provide community services for
the general public and undertake advance and innovative research and
development programmes.
