Cantonese Opera Show

The Cantonese Opera Show was held on 22^nd May 2000 at the Concert Hall of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre with a view to raising funds for the launching of eye care programs for the elderly suffering from “Glaucoma”.  Mr. Dominic Wong, Secretary for Housing and Honorary Advisor to the Foundation, was invited to be the Guest of Honor. 

Over 1,500 participants, including major donor Madam Pak Suet-Sin and Mr. So Kai -Tao, Mrs. Christina Lee, Honorary Advisor to the Foundation, other donors and friends attended the Show.  

The Show featured a total of seven groups of famous artists from both Hong Kong and Guangdong including Mr. Tin Fan, Ms. Lee Heung-Kam, Mr. Leung Hon-Wai, Ms. Lam Fung, Mr. Yuen Shiu-Fai, Mr. Leung Tin and Mr. Lung Kwun-Tin.  Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mrs. Silvana Ho joined with Vice-chairman Mrs. Lisa Ko and other members including Mrs. Lucilla Leung, Mr. Ng Wing-Hei, Mrs. Lau Ko Chiu-Kwun, Mrs. Ho Chan Chi-Ling, Mrs. Lee Lo Hong-Kei and Mrs. Tsang Lam Ying-Hang were also participated in the Show.
